Radia Technologies Launches IIIdm(tm) Security Monitoring Platform

09/15/2003

Radia Technologies Corporation announced the newest version of its emergency communication and incident response and management system, Radia IIIdm (tm), at the ASIS International Seminar & Exhibits in New Orleans on September 15-17, 2003 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Built upon the RadiaLink(tm) platform, Radia IIIdm adds increased functionality by integrating alarm life safety system detection with live, real-time video, incident information, analytics and multi-party collaboration abilities into a single command platform. Of the new system, Radia Technology's CEO and President Stephen Maloney said, "Hearings and investigations into the September 11th terrorist attacks and the analysis of tragedies such as the Columbine shooting confirm that despite the availability of world-class technology and personnel, poor coordination and communication failures between public and private responders continues to leave facilities vulnerable and poorly prepared to handle future incidents. The Radia IIIdm incident management system fills a vital gap within existing security infrastructures and command and control systems."

Radia IIIdm enables responders in emergency and potentially threatening situations to see through the "fog" of a developing crisis from virtually anywhere, allowing for an immediate assessment of the situation, and mounting of an appropriate response. In the event the Radia IIIdm (pronounced "three-D-M") system is triggered, such as a break-in, hostage stand-off, fire or electrical emergency, security authorities and other select personnel are alerted of the event via email, phone, and/or pager, and are given access to live and recorded video images via a highly secure temporary Web link. From this virtual command and control center, accessible through any Internet-connected computer or wireless Web device, authorized personnel may remotely view the facility's video, audio and other data in realtime. With IIIdm's collaboration tools, responders can also securely share information via voice-over-IP and instant messaging, allowing for immediate real-time interoperability between response parties and the ability to coordinate a response strategy.

By providing critical parties with an interactive communication bridge throughout the life cycle of an incident, Radia is leading the global security industry with products that meet today's new security and life-safety standards.
