David R. Pepin, Chairman

David is Chairman of the fund, bringing over thirty years of management experience to our portfolio companies. After a successful career in engineering, sales, marketing and general management at IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation, Dave joined Phoenix in 1994. While at Phoenix, Dave was Founder and President of Phoenix Charter Oak Trust Company, and later Executive Vice President of Phoenix Investment Partners and a member of the board. Most recently he was in charge of international development for Phoenix including the start up of an investment advisory company in Tokyo. Dave has his BS and MBA from the University of Connecticut where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma and was the winner of the prestigious Wall Street Journal Award. He also attended the Institut European d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France.
